Job Title: Forum Moderation Committee Member

Responsible To: Committee Chair

Position Summary: To monitor the forums ensuring all members behave according to forum rules and treat one another with respect and to remove spam from the forums as it appears.

Duties:

  • Monitor forum conversations to ensure they comply with the forum rules
  • Issue warnings as those rules are violated
  • Delete spam messages
  • Move posts placed in incorrect locations

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Forum Moderation an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the forum rules

Time Commitment:

  • We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year

Comments:

  • Must have own internet access
  • This volunteer position is by invitation only
