Local Relations Committee Member

Job Title: Official Local Representatives
Responsible To: Public Relations Coordinator
Position Summary: To recruit local members, establish an Electoral District Association, create and upkeep Pirate Party of Canada (PPCA) activities at local levels, coordinate those activities with other PPCA groups throughout the country.
Duties:
- Participate in coordinated national or international rallies
- Help facilitate local meetings
- Recruit membership to the Pirate Party of Canada and local volunteers
- Establish local Electoral District Association
- Coordinate and Maintain local Electoral District Association
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities related to the EDA, as able, to local volunteers
- Compose a monthly report on local operations
Qualifications:
- Personable
- Organizational Skills
- Speaking Skills
- Writing Skills
- Budgeting Skills
- Experience running small teams of 5-20 people
- Must be well-versed on the tenants of the PPCA
Time Commitment:
- We request that if you commit, you do so for a minimum of 1-year
Comments:
- Must have own internet access
- Several friends willing to help you get things started would make your job a lot easier!
- All local group leaders should be members of this committee
