PIRATE PARTY OF CANADA

Members present: shadowjester, nebajoth, OceanKing.

Intermediate Goals:

  • Advocating for more use of free, open-source software solutions within public and private sphere
  • Advocating for national networking technology

Long-term Goals:

  • Consider expanding platform to be larger in scope
    • Education
    • Foreign policy
    • Internal policy
    • Economic regulation, stimulus, and growth
  • More Exposure

What is the Pirate Party of Canada about?

We suggest further discussion on:

  • Should the Pirate Party consider taking a stance on foreign affairs?
    • If so, what do we care about?
  • Will we be fighting an uphill battle with both the single/few issue stance, and the name?
    • Should we change the name?
    • Does Canada really need a Pirate Party?
  • Should we advocate for the elimination of copyright, or just limiting copyright?
    • Is it moral to pirate?
  • Is there a lacking in level of professionalism within the party?
    • Will we attract members with a greater lapse in level of professionalism in the future?
    • Should we have a code of professional conduct?
