IRC - Mibbit

Its Firefox's fault that Mibbit is the default IRC handler.

Email Protection

To protect your email from spam while being displayed in the contact list, often it is suggested to change the "@" symbol to "[at]" or "[at symbol]" and the "." to "[dot]". This may not be enough since any script-kiddie can google search: "nospam gmail.com".

Instead, it would be better to hide your email behind a captcha using ReCaptcha to generate a long URL then by using TinyUrl or another URL shortener.
